Coming up in March, she’ll be hitting the road for an amazing comeback tour. And Britney Spears is in fine form thanks to her disciplined workout routine.

According to a report, the “Gimme More” songstress has shed an estimated 20 pounds in the past few months, putting her in the best shape she’s been in for years.

But it didn’t come without hard work- Brit Brit hit the gym three times a week for her killer two-hour cardio and strength training workouts in addition to her grueling dance rehearsals.

Spears told press that it’s hard work focusing on her physique, as she’s so preoccupied with her music. But somehow she’s managed to do it. "I have had to work hard at getting [my body] back to where it used to be. I used to be obsessed with working out ... But I can't get motivated right now because I'm so focused on my music."

Britney Spears now a days is so fed up with her very controlling father that she's gone on a hunger strike to protest all the rules and regulations imposed on her.Poor Britney.An insider told UK tabloid The People:

“Britney thinks that if she doesn’t eat much she will lose weight, then people will notice. Then she thinks she will get to make her own decisions once again. She reckons she is better now so fails to see why her dad is still meddling in her life. All he is doing is looking out for her but she doesn’t see it like that. She thinks he is doing it to be irritating. So she has decided that she will protest by not eating. She is working hard to get her life back on track but doesn’t realise that her current behaviour could halt all that. She has been told to eat but is refusing so is starting to look very skinny indeed. But then that is what she is hoping to achieve.”
